As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications using Java and modern web frameworks. Your main focus will be on contributing to cloud-native solutions by implementing microservices, automated testing, and continuous delivery practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality software. Collaboration with product managers, designers, and engineering teams will be essential in building reliable and scalable systems. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, and various web technologies. - Build and consume RESTful and SOAP-based web services. - Develop microservices deployed in cloud environments such as Cloud Foundry and GCP. - Write unit and integration tests using JUnit, Mockito, and H2. - Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins. - Monitor and troubleshoot applications using tools like Dynatrace and Splunk. - Work with databases including PostgreSQL and BigQuery. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. - Ensure adherence to coding standards, security practices, and architectural guidelines. - Support production systems, including participating in on-call rotations. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field. - Strong experience in Java/J2EE and Spring Boot. - Experience in building RESTful APIs and microservices. - Familiarity with cloud platforms like GCP and Cloud Foundry. - Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins. - Working knowledge of relational databases like PostgreSQL. - Experience with unit testing frameworks like JUnit and Mockito.
