SAP Time Management (Positive) – Senior Consultant

Job Title: SAP Time Management (Positive) – Senior Consultant Experience: 6 - 9 Years 6 - 8 years of relevant SAP Time Management experience strongly preferred Level: Senior Consultant Location: Hyderabad / Bengaluru / Pune / Mumbai / Kolkata / Chennai / Gurgaon Shift: 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM IST Work Mode: Hybrid Joining: Immediate joiners preferred Role Summary We are looking for an experienced SAP HCM Time Management Functional Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in Positive Time Management , particularly PCRs and Schemas . The candidate should be currently working on SAP and have strong experience in configuring and supporting SAP Time Management , including CATS, absences, absence quotas, time evaluation, and production/AMS support. This is primarily a Positive Time Management requirement, so candidates with only Negative Time Management exposure should not be prioritized. Must-Have Skills SAP HCM Time Management Positive Time Management – Mandatory PCR (Personnel Calculation Rules) – Read & Write Schemas – Hands-on Time Evaluation SAP Time Configuration CATS (Cross-Application Time Sheet) Absences Absence Quotas Time Recording Positive & Negative Time Management concepts AMS / Production Support Incident & Ticket Resolution ServiceNow / JIRA / Remedy or similar ticketing tools Key Responsibilities Support clients on day-to-day SAP Time Management requirements. Configure and maintain Positive Time Management functionality. Write, modify, read, and troubleshoot PCRs and Schemas . Analyze Time Evaluation issues and implement appropriate fixes. Configure and support absence types and absence quotas . Work with CATS and related time-entry processes. Troubleshoot employee time-recording and time-processing issues. Analyze production incidents, identify root causes, and provide resolutions. Handle incidents/service requests within an AMS support environment . Work with business users to understand Time Management issues and requirements. Perform configuration changes based on client requirements. Support testing, defect resolution, and regression activities. Use ticketing/testing tools such as ServiceNow, JIRA, Remedy, or HP ALM . Maintain appropriate functional and support documentation. Positive vs. Negative Time Management This distinction is important while sourcing: Positive Time Management: Employees record/punch their actual working time, and the system evaluates the recorded time against planned working schedules. Negative Time Management: Employees generally do not record every attendance/punch; exceptions such as absences and deviations are recorded against the planned schedule. For this requirement, hands-on Positive Time Management experience is mandatory/preferred heavily . Good-to-Have Skills Canada Payroll. SAP Payroll. Other SAP HCM modules.
