Senior Applications Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES Manage Applications Engineering team within FTC Solar Define continuous improvement roadmap for released tracker products Work closely with Field Operations to understand and address field installation issues Support and define improvements in testing for tracker components Analysis and improvement of field performance Work closely with Quality and RD to resolve field failures and provide technical oversight of proposed remediations QUALIFICATIONS BS, MS or PhD in technical discipline related to trackers (Mech Eng., Structural Eng. or equivalent) 8+ Years work experience in solar Previous supervisory experience or demonstrated experience managing people in teams / projects Demonstrated ability in problem solving Critical thinking Good communication skills both oral and written Organizational skills WORKING CONDITIONS FTC Solar is an equal-opportunity employer.
