About the role
As a member of the FTC Solar team, you will play a crucial role in advancing renewable energy through our innovative solar tracker systems and cutting-edge technology. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the Applications Engineering team at FTC Solar - Develop a continuous improvement roadmap for released tracker products - Collaborate with Field Operations to address field installation issues - Drive improvements in testing for tracker components - Analyze and enhance field performance - Work with Quality and R&D to resolve field failures and provide technical oversight for proposed remediations Qualifications: - Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in a technical discipline related to solar trackers (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering) - 8+ years of experience in the solar industry - Previous supervisory experience or demonstrated ability to manage teams/projects - Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking - Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) - Strong organizational skills FTC Solar is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer that values diversity and is dedicated to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
