BI Developer - Power BI

You will play a crucial role in transforming the reporting ecosystem at Futuristic Underwriters Pvt. as a SMART BI engineer specializing in P&C Insurance. Your primary responsibility will be to modernize the legacy reporting system and leverage data to generate insightful business intelligence for Underwriting, Claims, and Finance decision-making. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the complete overhaul of the reporting ecosystem, delivering decision-grade dashboards using AI techniques. - Audit and revamp the existing reporting landscape to create a modern, scalable, and high-performance Power BI ecosystem. - Develop advanced semantic models using DAX, Power Query, and SQL to establish a "Gold Standard" for reporting. - Collaborate with Underwriting, Claims, and Finance leaders to define and monitor complex KPIs such as Loss Ratios, Policy Retention, and Claims Leakage. - Ensure fast report performance and seamless data refreshes for large, multi-source datasets. - Uphold high standards of data governance, accuracy, and reliability in handling high-volume insurance data. - Engage directly with business leaders to contribute to data strategy and decision-making. Qualifications Required: - At least 8 years of experience in BI/Analytics with a strong proficiency in Power BI tools (DAX, Power Query, M). - In-depth understanding of Claims, Underwriting, and Policy Lifecycle data. - Demonstrated expertise in ensuring data integrity and enterprise-level data reliability. - Experience working with complex insurance data sets, showcasing problem-solving skills. - Proven ability to collaborate with business leaders and contribute to data strategy discussions.
