JOB DESCRIPTION - MW MESSAGING INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER Technology / Tools:Kafka & SwaggerHub Designation / Level:4 Associate Skilled Experience Required:7-10 years ROLE SUMMARY The Associate Professional Middleware Messaging Infrastructure Engineer with expertise in Kafka and SwaggerHub is responsible for managing event streaming infrastructure and API documentation platforms. This role supports the integration of real-time messaging with API-first development practices using SwaggerHub. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Manage and operate Apache Kafka clusters for enterprise event streaming and messaging workloads - Administer SwaggerHub for centralized API design, documentation, and governance - Collaborate with API and integration teams to align Kafka event schemas with OpenAPI specifications - Monitor messaging pipelines and API gateway interactions for performance and reliability - Implement Kafka security policies and SwaggerHub access controls and versioning workflows - Support API lifecycle management including design reviews, publishing, and deprecation workflows - Troubleshoot Kafka consumer issues and SwaggerHub integration problems with development teams - Maintain documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures for both platforms REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE - 7-10 years of experience in middleware and integration engineering - Strong hands-on experience with Apache Kafka (topics, consumers, connectors) - E .
