Job Summary Job Responsibilities - Lead, mentor, and manage a team of cybersecurity engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. - Develop and execute the cybersecurity engineering strategy, aligning with overall business objectives and risk appetite. - Oversee the design, architecture, and implementation of security controls, tools, and platforms, including but not limited to SIEM, EDR, DLP, IAM, vulnerability management, and cloud security solutions. - Drive the adoption of secure development lifecycle (SDLC) best practices across engineering teams. - Collaborate with development, operations, and other IT teams to integrate security into the entire technology stack. - Conduct regular security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability scanning, and oversee remediation efforts. - Stay abreast of emerging cyber threats, technologies, and industry best practices to proactively enhance LPL Financial's security posture. - Develop and maintain documentation for security architectures, configurations, and procedures. - Participate in incident response activities, providing technical expertise and leadership during security incidents. - Manage relationships with security vendors and evaluate current security products and services. - Present security strategies, roadmaps, and incident summaries to senior leadership.
