About the role
Role Overview: You will be joining Gemtech PARAS as an AI/ML Engineer to convert cutting-edge research into production-ready solutions. Your role will involve a combination of robust software engineering and advanced machine learning practices. You will not only work on building prototypes but also play a crucial role in the transition from RFP discovery to submission with speed, clarity, and control. The platform aims to optimize how organizations discover, evaluate, and secure complex public and private sector contracts. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize advanced Python skills including NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch, and TensorFlow for backend service development using FastAPI. - Demonstrate expertise in building and maintaining pipelines with vector infrastructure tools like FAISS, AWS Open Search, or similar vector databases. - Showcase high proficiency in cloud ecosystems, particularly in AWS (SageMaker, Lambda, ECS, Step Functions) or Azure (Azure OpenAI, Functions, App Services). - Have a strong understanding of MLOps and DevOps practices, including monitoring, versioning (MLflow), and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions). - Lead end-to-end ML/GenAI workflows, from data ingestion and preprocessing to deployment and inference. - Design robust GenAI systems encompassing API design, data pipelines, and scalable monitoring. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI capabilities into dynamic applications for enhanced user experiences. - Write high-quality, testable code and execute thorough unit/integration testing to ensure system reliability. - Address complex performance and reliability issues across diverse environments to enhance system scalability. Qualifications Required: - Possess a minimum of 4 years of professional experience as an AI, ML, or Software Engineer, with a focus on building production-grade applications. - Hold a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Software Engineering. - Demonstrate a strong software background with experience in version control using Git and Agile development methodologies.
