About the role
We are seeking an experienced Land Surveyor Manager to lead land surveying activities for our wind energy projects in Ambroli and Jamnagar, Gujarat. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducti ng precise land surveys, supporting site development, obtaining land rights, and ensuring all land-related activities comply with project specifications and legal requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Land Survey Planning: Develop survey plans based on project requirements, scope, and technical specifications. - Field Surveys: Lead and supervise field survey activities including topographical, boundary, and geotechnical surveys using advanced surveying instruments and technology. - Data Collection & Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret survey data; prepare detailed survey reports, maps, and drawings. - Land Acquisition Support: Assist in land acquisition processes by providing accurate land parcel data, boundaries, and legal land descriptions. - Coordination: Work closely with project engineers, legal teams, landowners, government authorities, and other stakeholders. - Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all survey activities adhere to local laws, environmental regulations, and safety standards. - GIS & Mapping: Utilize GIS software and other digital tools for mapping, data management, and visualization. - Quality Control: Review survey data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency; implement quality assurance procedures. - Documentation & Reports: Maintain detailed records of survey activities, field notes, and project documentation. - Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor survey team members; plan and allocate resources efficiently. Qualifications & Experience: - Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Geomatics, Surveying, or a related field. - Minimum of 8-12 years of experience in land surveying, preferably in wind energy or infrastructure projects. - Proven experience in land boundary demarcation, topographical surveys, and GIS mapping. - Familiarity with local land laws, regulations, and land acquisition processes in Gujarat. - Proficiency with surveying tools and software such as Total Station, DGPS, GIS, AutoCAD, and others. - Strong leadership, planning, and project management skills. - Excellent communication and coordination skills. - Ability to work in remote or challenging environments. Skills & Attributes: - Attention to detail and high accuracy in survey measurements. - Robust analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to lead and manage a team effectively. - Knowledge of environmental and legal considerations related to land surveys. - Willingness to travel and work in field conditions.
