Senior Data QA Engineer - GTG - BLR

The Data Quality & Governance Engineer is responsible for ensuring that data across our consumer data platform is accurate, consistent, well-documented, and trustworthy. This role focuses on implementing frameworks and processes that maintain high data integrity a foundation for all analytics, insights, and activation use cases. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the subject matter expert for our product analytics platform (Amplitude), driving adoption and ensuring end-to-end data integrity. Collaborate with Product and Marketing teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop dashboards and reports to track user engagement, feature adoption, and campaign performance. Implement and manage automated data quality testing and validation frameworks within ETL/ELT pipelines (e.g., dbt tests, Great Expectations). Conduct in-depth data analysis using SQL and GraphQL to identify root causes of data quality issues. Own and manage the data quality assurance framework, proactively investigating, triaging, and resolving data issues. Partner with source system owners and analysts to define, document, and enforce data standards and best practices. Required Skills: Must-Have: 4+ years of experience in data quality, data governance, or related data engineering roles. Expert-level proficiency in SQL for data profiling, analysis, and validation. Strong understanding of ETL/ELT development and data modeling concepts. Exceptional attention to detail with a methodical and data-driven approach to problem-solving. Desired Skills Programming experience in Python for developing custom data quality checks and automation. Experience working with cloud data warehouse platforms such as Snowflake . Familiarity with data privacy regulations and data governance frameworks . Eligibility / Qualifications: Education: 4-year IT degree or equivalent Experience: 4 - 6 years
