Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Responsible for establishment and maintenance of a QA process covering GWT multi- standard products , experience in CDMA, UMTS & LTE system testing. Job Responsibilities: Test planning, test bed set up and test execution, defect management, requirements, feature architecture and test plan reviews, feature and system test execution. Role: Provide and maintain Debugging and Trouble- shooting customer issues in Platform and Application areas under time constraints Provide analysis and recommend solutions as well as implement the solutions Provide technical support to customer facing teams when critical issues or service outages happen Guide and support other members of the team in resolving technical issues and improving their debugging skills Skills/ Requirements: Experience in CDMA 2k, UMTS ( LTE) system testing. Should have a good knowledge of call processing, hand offs and mobility management. Experience in test estimation, test planning and test execution and exposure defect tracker tool Clear Quest is must. Knowledge of QXDM, PDSN testing tools, NMS/ EMS. Exposure in configuring, VOIP/ PTT testing will be an added advantage Must possess strong debugging and analytical skills Must be familiar with at least one of the following architectures and its assembly op- codes: , PowerPC, MIPS Good knowledge of embedded OS, preferably Linux Good communication skills Independent Qualifications and Experience: 2 years Experience in software development/ sustaining in an embedded RTOS environment Bachelor in CS/ EE, Masters preferred Wireless experience a plus
