As a Senior Blockchain Protocol Engineer specialized in Cosmos SDK and Golang, your role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining core blockchain infrastructure within the Cosmos ecosystem. Your responsibilities will include: - Building, developing, implementing, and maintaining core blockchain modules using Golang and the Cosmos SDK. - Designing and developing custom blockchain functionality, such as role-based token factory modules for native asset issuance. - Implementing advanced logic within the ABCI++ interface, including workflows like Prepare-Proposal and Process-Proposal. - Configuring, deploying, and maintaining blockchain networks, including genesis configuration, validator setup, and consensus parameter tuning. - Developing and managing cross-chain interoperability using the Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC) protocol. - Writing comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure protocol security, performance, and reliability. - Participating in architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and code reviews. - Creating and maintaining high-quality technical documentation. - Troubleshooting and resolving issues across development, testing, and production environments. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure blockchain solutions. Qualifications required for this role include: - 5+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on backend or distributed systems development. - Expert-level proficiency in Golang. - Hands-on experience in developing and maintaining custom Cosmos SDK modules. - Strong understanding of CometBFT (Tendermint) consensus mechanisms. - Experience with ABCI and ABCI++. - Experience launching, operating, or contributing to Cosmos-based blockchain networks. - Strong knowledge of blockchain architecture, validators, staking, governance, and consensus models. - Experience implementing IBC and cross-chain communication solutions. - Deep commitment to software quality, testing, and maintainable code practices. - Strong knowledge of Linux environments and software development best practices.
