Mechanical Design Engineer

Create detailed 3D models and assemblies using SolidWorks. Prepare 2D manufacturing drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Apply GD&T , tolerance analysis, and prepare BOMs . Design mechanical components such as machined parts, sheet metal parts, and assemblies . Coordinate with manufacturing, production, and quality teams for design feasibility. Maintain proper design documentation and revision control . Support mechanical assembly, integration, and testing activities . Assist in design modifications based on manufacturing and quality feedback. Required Skills Proficiency in SolidWorks (Part, Assembly, Drawing). Good working knowledge of AutoCAD (2D drafting) . Understanding of manufacturing processes : Machining, Casting, Forging, Sheet Metal. Knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawing standards . Basic understanding of materials and mechanical properties . Hands-on experience with measurement tools such as Vernier Caliper, Pitch Gauge, and Radius Gauge.
