About the role
Roles and Responsibilities - Install, configure, and maintain data center infrastructure including servers, storage systems, and networking equipment. - Perform routine maintenance tasks such as patching, labeling, crimping, punching cables, rack mounting/un-mounting, port verification, cable laying, and tracing. - Ensure accurate documentation of work performed using labels and records. - Collaborate with team members to resolve issues related to data center operations. - Conduct regular checks on humidity levels in the data center workplace. Desired Candidate Profile - Strong understanding of rack installation/management (rack inventory) with proficiency in crimping/punching techniques. - 2-7 years of experience in field technician role with expertise in CAT6 cabling (cabling tracing). - Ability to perform port verification tests accurately. - Proficiency in labeling/labelling processes for easy identification of components.
