Application Engineer

Google is hiring for the role of Application Engineer! Responsibilities of the Candidate: Build and scale high-performance data pipelines and system integrations that seamlessly link Salesforce with Google's broader software ecosystem. Implement next-gen AI-driven integrations with Salesforce, ensuring all agentic workflows are highly secure, reliable, and privacy-compliant. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Security Engineering, Privacy, and business system owners, to help translate business requirements into technical solutions. Manage assigned tasks and priorities effectively, contributing to project goals and milestones with regular guidance and supervision. Identify and escalate technical challenges encountered during development and testing, and contribute to finding and implementing solutions. Requirements: Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. Experience in designing and integrating internal and third-party applications. Experience programming in Java, Python, or C++. Experience in driving engineering and architecture strategies. Experience with a cloud platform. Preferred qualifications: Experience designing and building data integrations across enterprise systems. Experience in one or more AI/ML and agentic technologies/stacks. Ability to deliver high-quality, well-tested code and systems. Excellent customer empathy and attention to detail, with a drive to build the best solutions possible Excellent investigative, communication, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
