Enforcement Detection Analyst

Google is hiring for the role of Enforcement Detection Analyst! Responsibilities of the Candidate: Develop and implement strategies and solutions to enforce YouTube content policies at scale. Leverage machine learning, as appropriate. Deliver improvements to our performance metrics based on understanding drivers of operations. Leverage programming skills to ensure that solutions fit within the current complex Product and backend infrastructures. Work closely with the Policy and Operations teams to understand the ever-changing policy enforcement landscape, and with Engineering teams to develop and test new features that address operational needs. Provide rapid incident response for abuse problems, operating independently. Analyze and draw conclusions on root causes and define and implement mitigation steps. Deep understanding of the abuse landscape, covering key vectors including insights towards drivers/intention of the abuse (why), methods to acquire accounts, gaps in our enforcement (how), etc. Requirements: Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 1 year of experience in data analysis, including identifying trends, generating summary statistics, and drawing insights from quantitative and qualitative data. 1 year of experience managing projects and defining project scope, goals, and deliverables. Preferred qualifications: Experience or demonstrated interest in content policy or anti-abuse operations at scale. Ability to work with a variety of stakeholders to gather requirements, explain models and iterate to make improvements. Developed problem-solving and analytical abilities with a proven history of going above and beyond to make operational improvements and solve tough problems. Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
