Technical Assistant (Mechanical) is a support role in the mechanical engineering and manufacturing sector. This position is designed to assist engineers, supervisors, and project managers with technical, administrative, and operational tasks that keep mechanical projects running smoothly. This job holder is responsible for performing assignments pertaining to the design and assessment of mechanical components and systems to assist in the product development process. They also support in developing prototypes for testing, provide design feasibility support on new and current designs under modification. They help in functional reviews of product architecture to assure design integrity and compliance with company specifications and recognized industry and Organizational design practices. This job requires the individual to work collaboratively and communicate effectively, using both written and oral methods. The individual should be organized and know how to manage assigned work and time effectively, be analytical and innovative in the formulation and solutions of problems.
