About the role
Description GSPANN is hiring SAP BW Consultants with 6+ years of experience in SAP BW 7.x, BW on HANA, and BW/4HANA. Design data models, develop ETL flows, and build optimized reports using BEx Query Designer. Roles and Responsibilities Design and develop data models and Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) flows in SAP Business Warehouse (SAP BW), including Classic BW, BW on HANA, and SAP BW/4HANA. Extract, transform, and load data from both SAP and non-SAP systems using DataSources and InfoProviders. Build and enhance InfoObjects, Data Store Objects (DSO), InfoCubes, CompositeProviders, Open Operational Data Store (ODS) Views, and MultiProviders. Create and optimize Business Explorer (BEx) Queries, Analysis for Office (AO) reports, and other front-end tools. Collaborate with functional teams from Financial Accounting (FI), Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), and Human Resources (HR) to gather and clarify data and reporting requirements. Monitor data loads proactively, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system performance. Support and maintain existing SAP BW landscapes while participating in upgrade and migration projects, including transitions from SAP BW to SAP BW/4HANA. Ensure high data quality and consistency across all reporting layers. Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation and user training materials. Skills and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Bring 5+ years of hands-on experience working with SAP BW (version 7.x or higher). Demonstrate strong expertise in SAP BW architecture, data modeling, and ETL processes. Possess practical experience in SAP BW on HANA or SAP BW/4HANA implementations. Apply ABAP (Advanced Business Application Programming) skills to create routines, enhancements, and perform debugging. Understand SAP modules, including FI, Controlling (CO), SD, MM, and HR, from a reporting perspective. Develop and manage queries using BEx Query Designer and Analysis for Office. Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Communicate effectively with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
