Role: Test Analyst: Department: Data & Technology Services Team Data & Development Contract length: Start : Experience Required: Total Experience 10 Years; Relevant Experience: 5+ Years Budget: Location: Bangalore / Chennai / Hyderabad / Pune / Mumbai Role Description: Support the development, implementation and maintenance of efficient and effective test plans and test cases based on specific needs of projects or continuous improvement activities for services Support the creation and maintenance of robust regression test pack as required to meet project or continuous improvement activities for services /systems Supports the coordination and execution of manual and automated regression testing as required to meet project objectives or continuous improvement activities for services/systems Assist and improve the automated testing capabilities, packages and processes Support the creation and maintenance of robust regression test pack as required to meet project or continuous improvement activities for services /systems Accurately record test findings, in line with agreed procedures Liaise with the Test Manager, Systems Development teams and/or Scrum Masters to create and add tasks to system backlogs as a result of issues discovered during testing Deal with sensitive information and data with a very high degree of confidentiality and discretion adhering to data protection legislation Experience: Experience and knowledge Professional knowledge of data (and software) testing principles and concepts understanding of the software development and release lifecycle Professional working knowledge of Agile/Scrum working practices Proficiency in automated testing Professional working knowledge of writing and running SQL queries and testing APIWeb services Understanding of risk management Professional working knowledge software tools to streamline the process of reporting, tracking, and resolving defects
