Position: Data QE Specialist / ETL Tester Experience: 69 Years Location: Pune / Chennai (Hybrid 3 Days WFO) Shift: Overlap with US Team (Till 910 PM IST) Notice Period: Immediate Joiners Preferred Payroll: Haparz Share your resume: [email protected] About the Role We are looking for an experienced Data QE Specialist with strong expertise in data pipeline and ETL testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience validating modern data platforms, ensuring data quality, and testing complex data transformation workflows. This is a pure Data Quality Engineering role, and candidates with only application testing experience will not be considered. Key Responsibilities - Validate end-to-end ETL and data pipeline workflows across modern data platforms. - Perform data reconciliation, transformation, and integrity validation between source and target systems. - Design and execute test cases for complex data ingestion and transformation processes. - Develop automated data quality validation and reconciliation frameworks. - Validate AI/ML model outputs and data used for machine learning workflows. - Test Conversational BI solutions, including text-to-SQL functionality. - Work closely with Data Engineers and Analytics teams to identify and resolve data quality issues. - Ensure accuracy, completeness, consistency, and reliability of enterprise data assets. - Support CI/CD-based data testing and automation initiatives. - Document testing processes, defects, and validation reports. Required Skills - 69 years of experience in Data Quality Engineering or ETL Testing. - Strong hands-on experience in ETL/Data Pipeline Testing. - Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Airflow, and dbt. - Expertise in data validation, reconciliation, SQL, and data quality automation. - Experience validating AI/ML models and modern analytics platforms. - Understanding of Conversational BI or text-to-SQL testing. - Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Key Note - Candidates must have hands-on Data Pipeline / ETL Testing experience. - Candidates with only Application Testing or Functional Testing experience will not be considered.
