ENGINEER - Data Networking

As a Data Networking Specialist, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing data networking solutions to meet organizational needs. Your responsibilities will include monitoring network performance, troubleshooting issues, integrating networking solutions with existing systems, and developing network policies to enhance security and efficiency. Additionally, you will provide technical support and training to staff on networking tools and technologies, while staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to data networking. Key Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and manage data networking solutions - Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues - Collaborate with IT teams to integrate networking solutions - Assist in developing network policies and procedures - Provide technical support and training to staff - Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field - 1-3 years of experience in data networking or a related role - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Mandatory Skills: - Strong knowledge of data networking concepts, protocols, and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs) - Experience with network configuration and troubleshooting tools - Familiarity with network security practices and tools - Ability to analyze network performance metrics and implement improvements - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Preferred Skills: - Experience with network monitoring and management software - Knowledge of cloud networking solutions and services - Familiarity with scripting languages for automation (e.g., Python, Bash) - Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or equivalent Please note: Data Network - Routing & Switching is a part of the job role.
