Job Title: QA Engineer with Watermelon Experience Location: CUSTOMER-Bengaluru-Bengaluru Years of Experience: 5-8 Years Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer with a strong background in automation testing and experience with Watermelon. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing methodologies. You will work closely with development teams to identify issues and improve the overall user experience. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Watermelon. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and translate them into test cases. Perform functional, regression, and performance testing to ensure software quality. Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality. Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies. Provide regular status reports on testing progress and results. Mentor junior QA team members and share best practices. Mandatory Skills: Proven experience in automation testing, specifically with Watermelon. Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices. Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems. Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, or similar. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Preferred Skills: Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes. Familiarity with performance testing tools. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Experience in working with cloud-based applications. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5-8 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on automation testing.
