Power BI Developer - Business Intelligence

As a highly skilled and experienced Power BI & Microsoft Fabric Developer, your role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports. You will be responsible for translating business requirements into technical specifications and data models, developing complex DAX calculations and measures, as well as performing data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from multiple sources. Your key responsibilities will also include optimizing report performance, ensuring data accuracy, collaborating with business stakeholders, implementing row-level security (RLS) and data governance practices, automating reporting processes, and providing support and troubleshooting for existing reports. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports. - Translate business requirements into technical specifications and data models. - Develop complex DAX calculations and measures. - Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from multiple sources. - Optimize report performance and ensure data accuracy. - Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs. - Implement row-level security (RLS) and data governance practices. - Automate reporting processes and improve efficiency. - Provide support and troubleshooting for existing reports. Qualifications Required: - 6+ years of experience in Business Intelligence / Data Analytics. - Microsoft Fabrics. - Report Builder. - Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI. - Proficiency in: i. DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) ii. Power Query (M Language) iii. SQL (advanced queries, joins, stored procedures) - Experience with data modelling (star & snowflake schemas). - Knowledge of ETL tools and processes. - Experience working with data sources such as: a. SQL Server b. Excel c. APIs / Cloud data sources - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Certifications: - DP-600 (Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate) certification is mandatory.
