About the role
Sr. Database Administrator
Position : Sr. Database Administrator
Job Duties :
Under limited supervision, install, configure, tune, test and maintain complex computer databases and implement high availability solutions; gather and interpret functional specifications and user requirements, and translate into technical requirements and design documents; support and maintain all corporate SQL Server databases; develop business critical reports; support and maintain application functions; create database tables; create classes and convert data received into correct format; create stored procedures, views, user defined functions and triggers; automate jobs; implement migration and upgrades; coordinate with cross functional teams in the delivery of projects and tasks in accordance with policies and procedures; approve, schedule, plan and supervise installation and testing of new products/improvements; debug programs; plan, coordinate and implement security measures to safeguard information in computer files against accidental or unauthorized damage, modification or disclosure; ensure databases meet best practices for security; test databases, correct errors and make modifications; execute disaster recovery and planning; mentor/assist less experienced team members; train users; and use: Windows, VMware, SQL Server, Enterprise Manager, Query Analyzer, SQL Profiler, DTS, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, Crystal Reports, Power BI, SQL, MySQL, VSTS, HTML, XML, C+, CSS and related tools.
Minimum Requirements
Education :
Master degree in Computer Science, Electronics or Electrical Engineering, Information Systems or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree).
Experience : Two (2) years of experience as a Database Administrator, Database Architect, Network Architect or in a related occupation;
Other Requirements :
Experience must include 2 years of work with VMware, SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS and SSAS; must be willing to relocate.

Develop, create, and modify moderately complex multi-tiered computer applications and web services; gather and interpret functional specifications and user requirements, and translate into technical requirements and design documents; develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models; store, retrieve, and manipulate data for analysis of system capabilities and requirements; develop business critical reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS); create classes and convert data received into correct format; automate jobs; create web forms, user controls, custom controls, MVC controllers, models and razor views; support and maintain application functions; set up user security; design, develop and direct testing plans and validation procedures; debug programs; develop enhancements and modifications; and accomplish above tasks utilizing the following tools: Windows, UNIX, SQL Server, Access, IIS, Apache, Visual Studio, LINQ, WCF, WebServices, XML, ASP.Net, ADO.Net, VB.NET, .NET Framework, BootStrap, JQuery, JavaScript, C#, and related tools.
Minimum Requirements
Education :
Master degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree);
Experience : One (1) year of experience as a Software Developer, Systems Analyst, Programmer, or in a related occupation;
Other Requirements :
