Position : Sr. Websphere Administrator

Job Duties :

Under limited supervision, install, configure, troubleshoot and maintain applications on web servers and middleware application servers; install and configure local and remote plugins; integrate web infrastructure components; set up vertical, horizontal and hybrid clustered environments for scalability, high availability and failover; migrate applications and process servers; deploy applications; configure Webservices and provide connectivity, messaging and service-oriented integration to power SOA; create scripts to automate tasks; analyze log files and thread dumps, and application specific configurations to troubleshoot applications; execute performance tuning; install and configure WPS pages and WPS portlets; provide support to development teams; coordinate with other teams to resolve issues; provide administrative access using LDAP; enable and manage security and performance optimizations; mentor/assist less experienced team member; accomplish above tasks utilizing the following tools: AIX, Windows, Linux, IIS, WPS, WAS, Websphere Portal Server, JBoss, BPM, MQ, Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, Unix Shell Scripting, Jython, JACL, Java Script, JSP, Web Services, and related tools.

Minimum Qualifications Education

• Master degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree);

• Experience : Two (2) years of experience as a Software Developer, Systems Analyst, or in a related occupation;

• Other Requirements:

• Experience must include work with WPS, BPM, WebSphere Portal Server, JBoss and Unix Shell Scripting; job may require relocation within the U.S.; must be willing to relocate.
