Senior Administrator - Oracle Exadata, Oracle DB Senior Administrator - Oracle Exadata, Oracle DB India Apply now Job Description Senior Administrator - Oracle Exadata, Oracle DB Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh Job Summary Oracle Golden Gate DBA L3 Minimum 8+ years relevant experience on Oracle 18c/19c Database Administration Candidate should be able to quickly understand and resolve issues, mitigate risks and dependencies and the ability to drive projects and resources to completion Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and documentation skills. Strong handson experience with Oracle Golden Gate installation, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting in production environments. Willing to work in 24x7 environment with Rotational Shifts. Actively participate in service improvement plans. Should be able to drive the critical issues and effectively communicate over the calls. Should be ready to work as Oncall as per the requirement. Install, configure, and administer Oracle Golden Gate (Classic and Microservices architecture) for realtime data replication, synchronization, and database migrations across onpremises and hybrid environments. Manage Golden Gate deployments using the Administration Server, Service Manager, and Performance Metrics Service within the microservices framework. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Golden Gate processes to resolve issues such as replication lag, data conflicts, and process failures. Implement performance tuning and parallel replication strategies to enhance throughput and replication efficiency. Collaborate closely with Oracle database environments including RAC, ASM, Data Guard, Exadata, and OEM to ensure high availability and consistency of replicated data. Utilize AWR, ADDM, and other performance tools to analyze and improve database and replication performance. Implement, configure, and maintain Data Guard and RAC environments, handling daytoday administration and troubleshooting. Use Data Pump (Export/Import) utilities for database migration and data management tasks. Develop and maintain shell scripts for reporting, automation, and Golden Gate monitoring. Design and implement heterogeneous replication between Oracle and nonOracle databases using Golden Gate Microservices. Contribute to performance optimization, troubleshooting, and capacity planning of highvolume replication systems. Strong experience with Oracle Golden Gate (Classic and Microservices architectures). Expertise in replication setup, tuning, conflict resolution, and parallel processing. Indepth understanding of Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, Exadata, and related technologies. Proficiency in database performance tuning (AWR, ADDM) and exposure to OEM monitoring. Handson experience with Oracle 18c/19c installation and administration. Knowledge of shell scripting and automation frameworks. Experience working in heterogeneous database environments. Key Responsibilities Adhere to quality standards and regulatory requirements while implementing company policies in Oracle Exadata and database administration environments. Provide advanced support for complex incidents escalated by analysts, conducting thorough root cause analysis, and implementing effective solutions to resolve technical and security issues. Engage in knowledge base updates and management by documenting solutions, training new team members, and coaching analysts to enhance team capabilities. Resolve complex tickets within agreed SLAs by collaborating with crossfunctional support teams, ensuring seamless operations and maintaining a robust security posture. Ensure a positive customer experience and high Csat scores by achieving first call resolution, minimizing rejected resolutions, and proactively addressing potential security threats. Skill Requirements Advanced proficiency in Oracle Exadata and database administration. Strong understanding of troubleshooting methodologies and root cause analysis techniques. Familiarity with incident management tools and ticketing systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders. Solid knowledge of security best practices related to database operations. Other Requirements Oracle Certified Professional (Ocp) in Oracle Database Administration (optional but valuable).
