Python Backend Developer (CI/CD and Azure Experience)

Job description We are looking for a skilled Python Backend Engineer to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Python development, Microsoft Azure administration, Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and secure cloud infrastructure management. This role combines software development, cloud administration, and DevOps responsibilities. You will be responsible for developing Python-based Azure Functions, managing Azure cloud resources, building deployment pipelines, supporting endpoint management through Microsoft Intune, and maintaining secure enterprise environments. Important This position is focused on Microsoft Azure technologies. Experience primarily centered on AWS or other cloud platforms is not considered relevant for this role. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain Python-based automation solutions, APIs, and cloud applications. Develop and maintain Python-based Azure Functions to process, validate, transform, and automate ingestion of flat files and medical chart data. Design, build, and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps Pipelines. Implement containerization strategies using Docker and manage deployments through Azure Container Registry (ACR). Deploy and maintain applications on Azure App Service and Azure Function Apps. Configure and support secure Azure infrastructure environments including VNETs, Private Endpoints, and Azure Bastion. Implement and maintain Azure Key Vault, Managed Identities, and related security controls. Support Microsoft Intune device management, compliance policies, application deployment, and endpoint security. Monitor application performance, troubleshoot deployment issues, and optimize cloud operations. Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams to improve delivery processes and healthcare data workflows. Preferred Certifications Candidates having CI/CD experience on Azure is preferred.
