Engine Calibration - Tech Support Function Research & Development - Jaipur Pay Band E3 & below Role Engine Calibration - Tech Support A purpose driven role for you The Engineer-calibration Motorcycle is responsible for H-D motorcycle calibration activities as per approved model strategy with focus on implementation of relevant technologies and ensures delivery within CTQ parameters. He is also responsible for implementation of technologies and calibration strategies on the relevant projects. Also ensures correct data generation and prepares test results and accordingly decides next calibration steps with collaboration with expert calibration lead engineers. This role holder also understands the working principles of calibration and should have hands-on experience of calibration of 2w application. A Day in the life Execution of basic system integration checks to final drivable calibration release for Motorcycle Understanding of steady state testbed maps and merging it for start of vehicle calibration. Execute all H-D motorcycle related calibration tasks at highest quality and expertise Creation of DOE and execute H-D motorcycle calibration and optimization (performance, acceleration, ride mode emissions, fuel consumption) Execution of all calibration projects by means of implementation of relevant Strategies. Support building calibration guidelines / processes based on requirements. Resolving technical issues encountered during vehicle calibration Creation of testing and calibration reports Execution of EOBD, Drivability, evaporative and Functions calibration RCA & 8D Data generation, compilation and sharing of test data as per project Gate (PDX) requirement. Vehicle benchmarking, data generation and data analysis, report preparation and sharing it with MLH, as per project need Academic Qualification & Experience BTech/Diploma from renowned institute 5 yrs of experience Technical Skills/Knowledge Solid internal combustion engine background Understanding vehicle dynamics and drivability impact Understanding process and methodology of calibration Understanding basics of emissions Work experience on calibration algorithms, ETC stems, basics of ABS calibration, EVAPO Shed Proven record of work on optimization tools like CAMEO, CONCERTO etc. Knowledge/worked on advanced comb. analysis tools like Indi master, advanced measurement tools Knowledge of EOBD and proven work experience on it Behavioural Skills Strong team building capability Willingness to share experience Keen on new ideas and technologies Agile and proactive work approach What will it be like to work for Hero As the worlds largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters for the last 22 years , Hero is where you will get to work with the brightest innovators, passionate about being the best in what they do.
