About the role
As a Front-end Developer, your role involves developing and maintaining reusable UI components and patterns using React and TypeScript. You will be responsible for implementing Fluent UI components and integrating Motif design tokens/patterns to adhere to design system guidelines. Ensuring accessibility (WCAG) and responsive behavior across various browsers and devices will be a crucial part of your responsibilities. Your key responsibilities include: - Writing unit and integration tests (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library) and implementing Storybook for component documentation. - Collaborating with UX/design teams to translate prototypes into production-ready components. - Optimizing front-end performance, diagnosing rendering issues, and participating in code reviews. - Mentoring junior engineers, contributing to front-end architecture decisions, and working with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git) for release activities. In order to excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: - Strong experience with React.js and modern front-end development practices. - Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript (ES6+). - Hands-on experience with Fluent UI for building enterprise UI components. - Experience working with the Motif design system for consistent UI styling and layouts. - Good understanding of component-based architecture and state management. - Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles, as well as Git and modern development workflows.
