About the role
Job Title: Azure Data Engineer Location: USA (Remote) Employment Type: W2 Job Description We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Azure data services, ETL/ELT processes, SQL, and modern data warehousing. Required Skills 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) .
Experience with Azure Databricks and PySpark .
Strong SQL development and performance tuning skills.
Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics or Azure SQL Database.
Knowledge of Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS Gen2) .
Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines.
Proficiency in Python and Spark.
Experience with CI/CD, Git, and Azure DevOps.
Familiarity with REST APIs and data integration.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Delta Lake and Medallion Architecture.

Knowledge of Power BI.

Azure Data Engineer certification is a plus.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
