Designation: Web Proxy Administrator Location: Mumbai Experience: L1 (2-4 yrs), L2 (4-6yrs) Qualification: BE/ B.Tech/ ME/ M.Tech About the role: The Partner Web Proxy Administrator shall be deployed onsite at the organizations premises and shall provide operational and administrative support for the Zscaler Web Proxy environment under the direction of the Piramal IT and Information Security (InfoSec) teams. Responsibilities: Provide daytoday administration and operational support for the Zscaler Web Proxy platform to ensure secure and compliant internet access for organizationprovided user systems.Implement, manage, and maintain web access policies in Zscaler strictly in accordance with approved organizational policies, standards, and security guidelines.Enable or modify internet access for users, URL categories, or specific websites only after documented approval from the Information Security team.Configure and manage Zscaler web proxy policies, including URL filtering, categorybased access, and exception handling, as per approved change requests.Perform URL category lookups and policy evaluations to assess business justification and access requirements for requested websites or services.Ensure that all policy changes are:Properly authorizedLogged within the system or change recordsTraceable for audit and compliance purposesParticipate in periodic policy reviews and provide necessary inputs or reports to the Corporate and InfoSec teams.Monitor/review web traffic logs and security events to support audit, compliance, and investigation requirements.Support integration and coordination with security monitoring tools such as SIEM, syslog servers, or other approved platforms, as required by the Corporate Security architecture.Assist in responding to findings, observations, or action items raised by:Information Security teamInternal auditorsExternal auditorsRegulatory or compliance bodiesEnsure timely remediation or support for closure of identified gaps or noncompliances within defined timelines.Ensure that the recommended and approved version of the Zscaler Client Connector is maintained on all supported enduser systems, in coordination with Endpoint / Desktop teams.Support troubleshooting of Client Connectorrelated issues to ensure secure and uninterrupted connectivity to Zscaler services.Review and process user access requests for businessrelated websites or services through the defined request and approval workflow.Coordinate with Corporate IT and InfoSec teams for clarification, exception handling, or risk assessment where required.Provide operational support during incidents related to web access disruption, policy enforcement issues, or proxyrelated connectivity problems.Prepare and share periodic reports related to:Policy changesAccess exceptionsSecurity events (as required)Compliance statusAdhere strictly to confidentiality, data protection, and acceptable use policies while handling logs, user data, and security information.Conduct quarterly solution reviews to optimize configurations, improve security posture, and implement enhancements based on best practices and business needs.Review and remediate security advisories, vulnerability notifications, and VAPT report observations in line with regulatory and organizational security standards.Assist with the deployment, integration, and support of advanced security features such as Cloud Browser Isolation, Advanced Sandbox, Advanced Firewall Controls, Advanced CASB, and DLP, including post-implementation support.
