About the Team : The AI Data Science team partners with AI, product, and engineering organizations to build production-grade AI and Data Science capabilities embedded within UKG solutions. The team leverages large-scale workforce data, advanced machine learning, analytics, and AI techniques to deliver customer impact. The Role : As a Data Scientist III, you will design, develop, and deliver innovative AI and data science solutions across UKG products.Own projects from problem definition through production deployment while driving measurable business impact.This senior individual contributor role combines technical expertise, project leadership, and mentorship.Preferred work location : Noida office, three days per week. Responsibilities : Apply statistical and machine learning techniques on billions of workforce and HCM records.Develop generative AI applications, RAG systems, and agentic workflows.Establish evaluation frameworks for model quality and business impact.Lead end-to-end ML and AI pipeline design and implementation.Own model validation, deployment, monitoring, and iteration.Partner with engineering teams to ensure reliability, performance, and maintainability.Write high-quality production code and scalable data pipelines.Collaborate with product managers and domain experts to translate business needs into solutions.Communicate insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.Mentor junior data scientists and improve team standards. Requirements : Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in a quantitative field or equivalent experience.5-7+ years in software product environments, including 3+ years as a Data Scientist.Strong Python, pandas, scikit-learn, PySpark, SQL/BigQuery, and version control expertise.Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP ML infrastructure and MLOps.Strong understanding of statistical modeling, experimentation, and evaluation frameworks.Expertise in NLP, deep learning, time-series analysis, clustering, or similar ML domains.Experience with LLMs and generative AI techniques preferred.Ability to work independently, execute strategically, influence stakeholders, and communicate across all organizational levels.
