About the role
As a highly motivated Digital Solution Architect at Hitachi Energy Technology Services Private Limited, you will play a crucial role in shaping, designing, and delivering end-to-end digital solutions to support a stronger, greener power grid and contribute to a more sustainable future. Your responsibilities will include defining robust, secure, and scalable architectures that translate business and operational needs into valuable technical solutions. Here's how you will make an impact: - Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and development teams to determine functional and non-functional requirements for new applications and platform capabilities. - Define and own end-to-end solution and application architectures across the full software development lifecycle. - Use appropriate tools and methodologies to create architecture approaches, reference architectures, and implementation proposals. - Guide development teams to ensure architectural intent, design principles, and standards are consistently applied. - Communicate architectural concepts, design decisions, and trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively. - Ensure software solutions meet quality, security, performance, scalability, availability, and modularity requirements. - Promote platform-oriented and reuse-driven architectures to reduce duplication and enable faster time-to-market. - Design and govern cloud-native and microservices-based architectures for various deployment models. - Embed secure software development lifecycle principles and ensure security-by-design across applications and integrations. - Drive and support AI-enabled capabilities such as intelligent recommendations, analytics, and automation solutions. Your background should include: - Bachelors or masters degree in engineering with at least 8+ years of experience in solution or application architecture, software development, and enterprise systems. - Strong knowledge of software and application design principles, object-oriented programming, and architectural patterns. - Understanding of software development lifecycle and engineering best practices. - Experience with web-based and cloud technologies, microservices, REST APIs, containerization, and orchestration. - Knowledge of data management systems, authentication, authorization, SSO concepts, and Linux operating systems. - Proficiency in cloud computing platforms, agile development methodologies, testing frameworks, and DevOps practices. - Strong organizational and leadership skills with a technical mindset and attention to detail. - Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
