Role Summary Hoora is building India's first Vehicle 360 platform. This role owns core systems end to end, including architecture, implementation, production ownership, mentoring engineers, and solving complex engineering challenges. (Content preserved from original JD.) Roles & Responsibilities Node.js Production ownership at scale, event loop, worker threads, streams, backpressure, and production profiling. MongoDB Schema design, indexing strategy, aggregation performance, scaling considerations, and operational judgement. React Modern React, rendering performance, state management, and large-scale applications. Express / Node API Design Versioning, authentication, authorization, validation, idempotency, and rate limiting. TypeScript Used across frontend and backend for reliability and maintainability. Distributed Systems Retries, backoff, timeouts, circuit breakers, graceful degradation, queues, workers, event-driven systems, caching, observability, CI/CD, containers, and cloud infrastructure. Ownership & Influence Lead migrations, architecture, mentoring, technical leadership, design reviews, and production ownership. AI-assisted Engineering – Effective use of coding agents, code reviews, and understanding AI limitations. What You'll Own Assignment and capacity management. Payments platform including refunds, payouts, reconciliation, auditability, and idempotency. Architecture decisions including data modelling, service boundaries, and consistency. Production ownership including SLOs, dashboards, alerting, and incident management. Multi-city platform scalability.
