Data Engineer

Role Overview: As a Data Engineer at House of Anita Dongre Private Limited, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, accuracy, and reconciliation of enterprise data across various systems and platforms. Your primary focus will be on monitoring and troubleshooting data integrations, performing SQL-based analysis, supporting Tableau reporting accuracy, and collaborating with internal teams and external vendors for issue resolution. Your keen problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in operational environments will be key to success in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure reliability, accuracy, and reconciliation of enterprise data across POS, ERP, OMS, integrations, and reporting platforms. - Monitor and troubleshoot data integrations, APIs, scheduled jobs, and automated data flows. - Perform SQL-based analysis, data validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution. - Support Tableau reporting accuracy through backend data validation and refresh monitoring. - Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for integration and data-related issue resolution. - Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and validation scripts. - Build proactive monitoring and alert mechanisms for integration and reporting failures. - Maintain documentation for integrations, reconciliation logic, and operational procedures. - Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives focused on data reliability and operational efficiency. Qualification Required: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Management, or a related field. - 6-8 years of experience in hands-on SQL expertise, including queries, stored procedures, troubleshooting, and data analysis. - Good understanding of APIs, integrations, ETL processes, scheduled jobs, and enterprise data flows. - Proven experience in production support, data reconciliation, and integration troubleshooting in business-critical environments. - Experience with Retail, ERP, POS, OMS, or BI ecosystems will be preferred. - Exposure to Tableau or similar reporting platforms is an advantage. - Ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams and external application vendors.
