Senior Software Engineer (Java, Kotlin)

Overview A global technology organization is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and operation of large-scale marketing technology platforms. The team builds and maintains services that enable customer engagement, campaign execution, content delivery, audience segmentation, personalization, marketing automation, scheduling, messaging, and analytics. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, building highly scalable distributed systems, and working on mission-critical communication platforms that serve large user populations. The platform ecosystem includes capabilities such as: Campaign management Content management Customer segmentation Personalization services Marketing automation Scheduling and orchestration Message distribution Performance measurement and analytics Responsibilities As a Senior Software Engineer, you will: Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain communication platform services. Participate in architecture discussions and evaluate technical solutions for scalability and long-term sustainability. Deliver new features and enhancements across multiple platform components. Build robust systems with strong performance, availability, reliability, and scalability characteristics. Develop clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback to peers. Diagnose production issues and implement preventative improvements. Partner with engineers, product stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to drive successful project delivery. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience. 8+ years of professional software development experience. Strong programming expertise in: Java Kotlin Good understanding of cloud computing technologies and services, including experience with one or more of: AWS Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Microsoft Azure Strong communication and collaboration skills. Business-level English proficiency.
