What youll build Design, implement, and manage the observability platformOwn the full lifecycle of telemetry pipelines (metrics and logs) across containerized and VM workloads, as well as cloud environmentsManage architecture, capacity planning, and day-2 operations for the observability stack on Kubernetes and DockerDevelop and manage large-scale alerting across multi-customer environmentsAuthor, tune, and maintain alert rules based on metrics and log signalsEnsure alerts are reliable, actionable, and low-noise across distributed systems and customer deploymentsMaintain enterprise-scale alert coverage where missed alerts have direct customer impactDeliver the observability platform using DevOps practicesImplement infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and continuous deliveryEnsure all changes are version-controlled and deployed through automated workflows, avoiding manual driftCore Skills:Monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, ELK, OpentelemetryAutomation & DevOps Tooling: Ansible, ArgoCD, github Actions, HelmContainers & Linux: Kubernetes, Docker, LinuxProgramming/Scripting: Python/Go, BashITSM & Data Integration: ServiceNow, Jira, MS teamsWhat you bring: 7 to 9 years of experience with Deep technical understanding of server infrastructureStrong knowhow on Hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container technologies and orchestrating workloads on Kubernetes clusters on SAP Gardner.Establish and maintain monitoring for container-based applicationsDevelop and enhance script-based application checksDrive continuous improvements in ECS monitoring and alertingEnsure high quality and reliability of active monitoring systemsKnowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD tools, and infrastructure automation Good to have:Certifications AWS Certified (Cloud)Red Hat Ansible Certified (Automation)CNCF Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKAKnowledge about HANAWhere you belong:SAP Enterprise Cloud Services enables our customers to focus on driving innovation for the future with a focus on flexibility and simplification.
