Role Overview
We are looking for an Automation Test Engineer with hands-on experience in Selenium or Playwright to ensure high-quality, scalable web applications through robust test automation.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium or Playwright
Perform functional, regression, and smoke testing for web applications
Collaborate closely with developers and product teams to understand requirements
Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA
Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines
Improve test coverage, reusability, and automation efficiency
Required Skills
2+ years of experience in automation testing
Strong hands-on experience with Selenium (Java/Python) or Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript)
Good understanding of SDLC/STLC and Agile methodologies
Experience in API testing (Postman/REST APIs) is a plus
Basic knowledge of Git and build tools (Maven/npm)
Nice to Have
Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber)
Exposure to Docker / CI tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions
