About the role

As a Design Engineer, your role involves creating and developing system architecture and system write-ups that meet site requirements and industry standards. You will be responsible for researching, creating detailed technical drawings, and collaborating with other teams to ensure designs align with product technical capabilities. Additionally, you will troubleshoot design-related issues, write technical documentation, and stay updated on new technologies for incorporation into new designs. Key Responsibilities: - Read, understand, and lead the preparation of engineering design documents such as design reports, BOM preparation, site floor plans, and civil/mechanical piping drawings, details, and specifications. - Define interfaces between controllers and all 3rd party equipment (mechanical, electrical). - Prepare installation designs for equipment sample installation. - Coordinate with the project team and customers to understand tender/site requirements. - Provide project management support for multiple projects, including necessary changes to existing floor layouts during the execution phase. - Prepare project scope, define implementation strategies and risks based on available inputs. - Support the delivery of engineering solutions (drawings, BOM, IO Summary, system architecture, etc.) and ensure compliance with actual technical site requirements until successful implementation. - Prepare Minutes of Meeting after technical discussions, take necessary actions, and ensure proper follow-up to meet goals and expectations. - Fulfill all project team leader duties and responsibilities for assigned projects. - Have proven experience in creating and managing design requirements throughout past tenures. - Possess 3+ years of experience with 2D and 3D CAD software for creating drawings and models. - Require experience in project workflow and working knowledge of HVAC/Electrical/Mechanical system equipment.
