Design Engineer / Design Executive

As a Design Engineer / Design Executive, your role involves developing accurate 3D models, technical drawings, and project documentation using SOLIDWORKS and/or Revit. Key Responsibilities: - Create accurate 3D models, assemblies, and detailed engineering drawings using SOLIDWORKS and/or Revit. - Develop design concepts and convert them into production-ready models and drawings. - Prepare shop drawings, fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and construction documentation. - Ensure all designs comply with project specifications, engineering standards, and company guidelines. - Modify and update existing models and drawings based on project requirements and design revisions. - Generate detailed technical documentation, schedules, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and drawing registers. - Prepare design layouts, section views, elevations, and detailed drawings. - Maintain organized documentation and revision records throughout the project lifecycle. - Assist in preparing technical reports and project-related documentation. - Collaborate closely with design teams, project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders. - Participate in design review meetings and incorporate feedback into project deliverables. - Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of design tasks. - Support project execution by providing technical drawing assistance and design clarifications. - Conduct self-checks and quality reviews of drawings before submission. - Ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of design deliverables. - Adhere to industry standards, company procedures, and quality requirements. - Identify design issues and propose practical solutions. - Stay updated with the latest features and advancements in SOLIDWORKS and Revit. - Learn and adapt to new design methodologies, tools, and engineering practices. - Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical capabilities. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Proficiency in SOLIDWORKS and/or Revit. Candidates with knowledge of both platforms will be given preference. - Familiarity with AutoCAD or other CAD software will be an added advantage. - Strong understanding of engineering drawings, drafting standards, and 3D modelling principles. - Knowledge of design documentation, detailing, and project coordination. - Ability to interpret technical specifications and engineering requirements. - Understanding of manufacturing, construction, or engineering workflows is desirable. Soft Skills: - Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. - Good communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment. - Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities. - Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow professionally. Educational Qualification: - Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Design Engineering, or a related field.
