Service Engineer - Beam Management

As a BMS Engineer at IBA, your primary mission is to play a key role in the installation, calibration, and commissioning activities at Hyderabad's first Proton Therapy Center. You will be responsible for the beam and physics subsystems, ensuring the successful delivery of the project within the specified timeline. Key Responsibilities: - Participate in the installation of various IBA equipment and technical tools on the Proton Therapy site, focusing on beam-related equipment - Perform calibration of beam-related equipment as per procedures - Operate the system to achieve the desired beam quality and alignment of Dosimetry tools - Analyze data to diagnose technical issues and troubleshoot equipment as needed - Test and validate equipment to meet customer requirements in terms of compliance, quality, and technical performance - Manage beam-related commissioning activities such as Pencil Beam Scanning (PBS) - Provide technical support to medical staff during QA, patient treatment, and operations - Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on hardware and software equipment - Collaborate with the R&D department for system upgrades and improvements Qualifications Required: - Master's degree or PhD in Physics or Engineering - Experience in High Energy Physics, Particle Accelerators, or Medical Physics is preferred - Proficiency in MS Excel, Python, and data acquisition scripting - Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Additional Company Details: At IBA, we prioritize creativity, innovation, and a dedication to excellence.
