About the role
- The Role: SAP EHS Dangerous Goods Consultant - Experience Required: 4 12 Years (TBD) - Employment Type: Fixed-Term employment with potential renewal - Location: Any PAN India location for Hybrid Onsite (Twice a week in office) - Shift Timing: 2:00 PM 11:00 PM IST (Providing critical alignment with western project lifecycles) - Key Focus: As listed below: Core Responsibilities - Regulatory System Architecture: Translate global hazardous materials transport regulations (including ADR, IMDG, IATA DGR, and DOT) into automated functional logic within the SAP landscape. - Logistics Integration: Configure and maintain the end-to-end data flow between EHS-DGM and the core logistics execution modules (SD/MM) to automate compliance documentation, packaging rules, and shipping blocks. - Data Migration Upgrades: Assist in the architectural mapping and migration of legacy product safety and dangerous goods master data into S/4HANA environments. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with extended supply chain teams (including TM and EWM) to ensure seamless handling and transport safety protocols across the enterprise. Key Skills and Qualifications - Experience: Minimum of 5 years of dedicated functional experience within the SAP EHS module. - Module Specialization: Deep expertise in Dangerous Goods Management (EHS-DGM) and Product Safety/Stewardship (including SDS authoring and substance workbench configuration). - Cross-Module Exposure: Demonstrated experience executing integrations with SAP SD, MM, and ideally SAP TM (Transportation Management) or EWM. - Technical Communication: Ability to collaborate effectively with ABAP teams to define requirements for custom forms, labels, and regulatory outputs.
