Your role will involve both frontend implementation and backend WordPress development, encompassing theme and plugin customization, database interaction, third-party integrations, and website performance optimization. Key Responsibilities: - Frontend Development - Design and develop visually appealing WordPress websites in alignment with brand guidelines. - Convert wireframes, design mockups, and creative briefs into functional web pages. - Customize WordPress themes and utilize page builders like Elementor or Gutenberg for layout refinement. - Ensure optimal website performance across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices with consistent cross-browser compatibility. - Implement modern UI/UX best practices to enhance user engagement. - Backend Development - Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins using PHP and WordPress coding standards. - Work with MySQL databases, managing custom post types, taxonomies, and custom fields. - Integrate third-party services such as payment gateways, CRM platforms, and external APIs. - Implement and manage WordPress hooks to extend functionality. - Support user role management, permissions, and content workflows as needed. - Performance, Security & Maintenance - Optimize websites for speed, usability, and overall performance through various techniques. - Apply WordPress security best practices, including updates, plugin maintenance, and monitoring. - Utilize Git for version control and collaborative development workflows. - Troubleshoot frontend issues, backend errors, and plugin conflicts efficiently. - Assist with website deployment, testing, and maintenance activities. - Collaboration & Development Workflows - Collaborate with various teams to deliver projects on time and within scope. - Communicate project progress and timelines clearly with stakeholders. - Contribute ideas to enhance development processes and project outcomes. - Stay abreast of emerging WordPress technologies and industry best practices.
