As a Senior Developer, you will play a crucial role in our New Age department, specifically in the Information Technology, Engineering, and CX & Digital Channels teams. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain software applications and systems for IDFC FIRST Bank's digital banking platform Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using industry best practices Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to junior developers Troubleshoot and debug technical issues in a timely manner Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in the digital banking industry and make recommendations for improvement Mentor and train junior developers to enhance their technical skills and knowledge Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, preferably in the banking or financial services industry Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python Experience with front-end development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript In-depth knowledge of database management and SQL Familiarity with Agile development methodologies Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Additional Parameters Experience with digital banking platforms and technologies is a plus Knowledge of mobile application development is a plus Experience with cloud computing and DevOps is a plus If you are a highly motivated and results-driven individual with a passion for technology and digital banking, we want to hear from you!
