Quant Analyst

Location-Hyderabad Hybrid Job Title: Risk Analyst Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Risk Analyst to maintain and enhance our current risk models and performance attribution models, focusing on OTC derivatives and other financial instruments. Key Responsibilities Maintain and enhance current risk models for pricing, generating Greeks/sensitivities, scenario analysis, VAR, and other risk measures. Enhance performance attribution models like Brinson Attribution and multi-factor attribution. Design and test new analytical models for hard-to-value derivatives. Spec out requested changes to Risk infrastructure and collaborate with IT for implementation. Maintain documentation for various parts of risk infrastructure. Provide periodic tutorials to the Risk team on infrastructure and analytics. Work on projects to improve product coverage, risk services, and infrastructure. Support client and internal escalation queries requiring deep dives into models and analytics. Stay updated with market developments and changes in risk/performance analytics standards. Required Skills Bachelor or Masters degree in Quantitative Finance, Engineering, or other Analytical subjects. 2-4 years of experience in Financial Services, preferably in Quantitative Modeling, Market Risk, or Performance Analytics. Strong financial modeling, mathematical, and advanced quantitative skills. Understanding of basic algorithms and coding experience with Java, Python, C++, VBA, or similar languages. Experience with databases like SQL and Oracle, and working with large data sets. Strong problem-solving aptitude and attention to detail. Self-starter with a drive for results and achievement orientation. Experience Required 2-4 years Salary Information Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
