Technical Expert PPP (Public-Private Partnership) 1. Role Overview KPMG India is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Expert to support transaction advisory and infrastructure consulting assignments, particularly in the transport, construction, highways, and related sectors. The role involves delivering high-quality technical inputs across project structuring, feasibility assessments, PPP advisory, bid process management, and stakeholder coordination for major infrastructure projects in India. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in civil engineering along with experience leading PPP transactions across infrastructure sectors. 2. Key Responsibilities Technical & Project Advisory Provide technical expertise during the planning, design, structuring, and execution of infrastructure projects. Lead and contribute to feasibility studies, DPR reviews, technical assessments, and project prioritization exercises. Prepare and review technical notes, project reports, and transaction documents relevant to PPP projects. PPP Transaction Advisory Lead and support transaction advisory assignments including project structuring, financial modelling coordination, bid process management, and preparation of project agreements. Ensure compliance with PPP frameworks, sectoral guidelines, and government regulations. Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful PPP transactions. Stakeholder Management Coordinate with government departments, client teams, technical consultants, and other project stakeholders. Participate in client meetings, review workshops, and site visits to gather project data and ensure alignment with project goals. Documentation & Reporting Draft high-quality deliverables including feasibility reports, RfP/RfQ documents, concession agreements, assessment reports, bid evaluation reports, etc. Prepare presentations and status reports for internal and external stakeholders. Quality & Timeliness Ensure timely delivery of all assigned project tasks with adherence to KPMG quality standards. Contribute to internal knowledge management, best practices, and methodology improvements. 3. Required Qualifications B.Tech in Civil Engineering Post-graduate degree in Management / Construction / Transport / Highways / Infrastructure or an equivalent relevant specialization is preferred. 4. Experience Requirements Minimum 7 years of professional experience in the infrastructure sector. Demonstrated experience in leading and successfully completing at least two (2) PPP transaction advisory projects in India. Experience with infrastructure sectors such as roads & highways, transport, logistics, construction, or urban development will be an advantage. 5. Key Skills & Competencies Strong technical understanding of civil engineering, project structuring, and PPP frameworks. Experience working with government clients, regulatory bodies, and multilateral agencies. Excellent analytical, documentation, and report-writing abilities.
