About the role
Job Description As a Network Engineer, you will play a vital role in network projects planning and execution. You will collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and team members to develop project plans, define deliverables and timelines, and allocate resources effectively. Additionally, you will work with network architects and project stakeholders to understand requirements, translate them into technical designs, and develop scalable and resilient network architectures. Key Responsibilities - Participate in network projects planning and execution. - Work with project managers, architects, and team members to develop project plans and define deliverables and timelines. - Collaborate with network architects and project stakeholders to understand requirements and develop network architectures. - Lead and manage complex internetworking solutions from design to implementation. - Design and assess large network solutions. - Manage network protocols and equipment from multiple vendors. - Utilize network management tools such as Cisco ISE and DNAC. - Demonstrate expertise in routing & switching, MPLS technology, VPN technologies, and network monitoring tools. - Possess excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. - Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in networking. Qualifications Required - B.E/B.Tech, M.Tech/MCA (Computer/IT) with 7+ years or B.Sc (Computers) with 8+ years of experience on large enterprise networks. - Hands-on experience in protocols/technologies like MPLS, BGP-4, ISIS, OSPF, EIGRP, RSVP, LDP, VXLAN, Network Access Control, 802.1x, VPN. - Experience in Software Defined Network (SDN) & SD-WAN. - Experience in leading and managing complex internetworking solutions. - Experience with multi-vendor IP networks and network protocols. - Experience with network management tools like Cisco ISE and DNAC. - Experience in handling teams of at least 15 members. - Knowledge of OSI model, TCP/IP protocol, network capture/analysis tools like Wireshark, and Network Management and Monitoring tools. - Technical expertise in Routing & Switching, MPLS Technology, VPN technologies, and Network Security technologies such as Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Proxy. - Proficiency in MS Office & MS Visio. - Additional experience in Security devices and working with banks/financial institutions/NBFCs networks is advantageous. - Knowledge of Software Defined Network (SDN), Telecom domain, and Network Security devices is a plus.
