Collect and validate various technical attributes of electronic and electro-mechanical components. Any Electronics Degree with 2+ years of experience or Diploma in Electronics Engineering with 4 to 5 Years of experience in component engineering field. Good exposure to all Electrical and electronics components and their functionalities Strong written and verbal communication skills. Understanding of component parameters and their functionalities Strong written and verbal communication skills. Achieves high standards of accuracy, with an eye for detail. Should have good Microsoft Excel, Power Point & Word skills. Good analytical skills. Collect and validate various technical attributes of electronic and electro-mechanical components. BOM scrubbing and managing component obsolescence. Acquiring and recording the evidence necessary for component attributes and other environmental standards. Liaising with component manufacturers and suppliers to create and manage accurate component data. Perform periodic quality checks of the component attributes and its accuracy. Good exposure to component manufacturers and their components portfolio. Ensuring new components are not duplicates of parts in the component data library. Identification of alternative components based on comparison of datasheet specifications, cost and availability.
