Position: AVP Data Analyst Experience: 812 Years Location: Pune Preference: Candidates currently serving their Notice Period or Immediate Joiners About the Role We are seeking a highly accomplished Data Analyst at the AVP level to drive enterprise-scale data transformation, governance, quality, migration, and analytics initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and stakeholder management capabilities, with proven experience working in complex, data-driven environments. Key Responsibilities - Lead data quality assessment, data lineage analysis, metadata management, and governance initiatives. - Perform detailed analysis of large-scale data migration programs, including database, table-level mapping, reconciliation, and validation. - Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines supporting analytics, reporting, and operational processes. - Collaborate with cross-functional business and technology teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions. - Develop and maintain data dictionaries, mapping documents, metadata repositories, API catalogues, and interface inventories. - Conduct data cleansing, transformation, and quality assurance activities across multiple platforms. - Utilize advanced analytical techniques, automation, and scripting to generate actionable business insights. - Support risk, controls, governance, and regulatory compliance initiatives related to data management. Required Skills - Solid hands-on experience in Data Analysis, Data Management, or Technical Business Analysis roles. - Expertise in SQL with the ability to write and optimize complex queries. - Hands-on experience with SAS for reporting, analysis, and migration projects. - Strong Python programming skills for data analysis, automation, and scripting. - Experience with data migration, data reconciliation, data quality, and data governance frameworks. - Working knowledge of Apache Spark, Databricks, and cloud-based data platforms. - Experience with Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, or similar visualization tools. - Strong understanding of OLTP and OLAP environments. - Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Preferred Skills - PySpark, Pandas, NumPy, and advanced Python libraries. - ETL, Data Warehousing, Data Streaming, and Real-Time Data Processing. - AWS Cloud Services and Data Engineering ecosystem. - Agile delivery methodology, User Stories, and Requirements Management. - Banking, Payments, Fraud Analytics, Risk, or Financial Services domain exposure. - Experience working in global, matrix-driven organizations.
