About the role
As a Technical Lead - Database Developer, your role will involve designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise-scale database solutions. Your expertise in Database development, SQL development, database performance tuning, and cloud database technologies will be crucial for this position. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain complex database solutions - Develop stored procedures, functions, triggers, and SQL queries - Perform query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning - Design database schemas, data models, and partitioning strategies - Build ETL/ELT transformations and reporting-ready database objects - Work on cloud databases such as Azure SQL, Synapse, Snowflake, or Redshift - Collaborate with developers, architects, and business teams - Ensure database security, data quality, and governance standards - Support database migration and modernization initiatives Required Skills: - Strong expertise in SQL / T-SQL / PL-SQL - Experience in design, develop, and maintain complex database solutions - Experience with SQL Server or PostgreSQL - Hands-on experience in performance tuning & query optimization - Knowledge of data modelling (star/snowflake schema, SCD) - Experience with Azure SQL / Snowflake / Synapse - Exposure to SSIS / Azure Data Factory / ETL tools - Good understanding of database CI/CD concepts As a Technical Lead - Database Developer, your role will involve designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise-scale database solutions.
